Purpose of the position: Responsible for our Secretariat and overseas branches finance operation including meeting all the accounting and tax compliances and deadlines.
Job Responsibility: Duties include but will not be limited to the following: Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of the RSPO Secretariat and Overseas Branch consolidated monthly management and financial reports in accordance with the MFRS.
Review and approve journal entries raised by the Finance Executives.
To ensure all journal posting/ transaction matching are completed in a timely manner and accurately captured in Financial Force.
Reviewing suppliers invoices (PIN) and PIN for staff claims with all relevant supporting documents including contract or approved quotation.
Review payments in the system to ensure payments are done in the timely manner Review monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Accounts Payable aging, Bank Reconciliations, Intercompany Reconciliation, and PL analysis.
Ensure all required month end reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner for monthly management reporting.
Assist in the monitoring, coordination, preparation and analysis of the annual budget for the RSPO Secretariat and Overseas Branches.
Assist with tax compliance, including annual corporate income tax preparation.
Support indirect tax reporting such as Withholding Tax and Sales and Service Tax.
Assist in the yearly financial audit (i.e.
review and preparation of audit schedules, responding to audit queries) and support periodic internal audits.
Manage the performance, provide guidance and identify competency development of direct reports.
To maintain the accounting system, Financial Force, and ensuring that it is kept current and updated, and to identify potential areas for change or enhancement.
Assist in Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) monthly management and financial reporting in accordance with MFRS Apart from the duties stated above, to perform any duty or duties reasonably assigned.
Job requirement: At least 8 years experience in audit & accounting or finance functions Preferably with relevant experience in using Financial Force accounting software Preference will be given to candidates with experience in dealing with regional stakeholders and/or working in nonprofit organisations Is familiar with all F&A functional processes and activities Strong technical accounting skills Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication Fluent in English and Malay Proficiency in Google Workspace (G Suite), and Office 365 including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to prioritise tasks, detail oriented and good organisational skills Essential skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and interact with different stakeholders High integrity and a good team player Resourceful team-player, with the ability to lead the team in meeting various compliance and deadlines Goal oriented and organized Self-motivated and the ability to perform multi-tasking Remuneration: RM9,000 - RM 13,000 Consultant In Charge: Angel Chok | 014-612 6048 | ******
