Role:Finance Manager
Salary:RM12,000-RM15,000

Responsibilities:Formulate and implement department policies covering good management, a safe and healthy working environment, and the safety of employees' and company properties.
Coordinate company secretarial matters with the appointed company secretary and stay informed about the conduct of business in Malaysia.
Prepare yearly budgets and frequent forecasts for administration department expenditures, explain variances periodically, and approve and control all department expenses.
Formulate, implement, and administer accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with parent company requirements.
Train, develop, and maintain a team of finance and accounting staff to achieve the necessary skills and knowledge for optimal performance.
Oversee inventory accounting and control, including physical count reconciliation, slow-moving reviews, standard cost calculations, and variance analysis.
Ensure that CBM cash flow is sufficient to meet financial obligations at all times.
Develop comprehensive cost reduction/avoidance programs, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate for optimal value.
Set yearly standard costs and ensure they are accurately maintained in the system.
Analyze, report, and present financial performance and key metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
Proactively monitor financial variances and provide insights on actions needed to mitigate unfavorable variances.
Ensure departmental activities comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards.
Ensure smooth month-end closing with variance analysis and reporting to management and the US financial team.
Collaborate with other departments as part of the CBM team to support the Quality Policy.
Lead interactions with third parties such as auditors, bankers, and tax agents to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the HOD and contribute to achieving departmental and company KPIs.
