Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Finance Manager. The Senior Finance Manager will be
responsible for managing and overseeing financial operations, preparing financial reports,
managing budgets, analyzing financial data, conducting forecasting and risk analysis, and
ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Additionally, the Senior Finance Manager will collaborate with the management team to make
strategic financial decisions and provide financial guidance to the organization.
Responsibilities Perform financial analysis, reporting and management activities. Act as a strategic partner to the CFO and COO in all business strategic initiatives and planning. Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making, highlighting key trends and variances. Ensure compliance to IPO exercise including financial reports are prepared and delivered on time according and compliant to professional standards and regulatory requirements. Liaise with legal representatives, auditors, tax agents, secretaries, bankers, and other external practices. Review financial data for accuracy, correctness and completeness. Forecasting requirements, prepare annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyse variance and initiate corrective action, where required. Oversee the preparations of Company's Financial Statements of a public company to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and Financial Reporting Standards, complying to Malaysian and US regulations. Implement innovative technology solutions and best practices to streamline financial reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Lead investment projects aimed at optimizing financial operations, such as automation of routine tasks and integration of new software systems. Monitor and ensure financial team follows public company policies and regulations. Other related tasks as assigned Qualifications Requirements Computer literate and familiarity on hands on knowledge in MS Office Application: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and commonly used accounting softwares. Knowledge in public companies current financial practice and policies is essential. Knowledge in compliance to IPO is highly recommended. Minimum 8 years working experience in related field and industry. Minimum and advanced diploma/LCCI higher in Finance/ Accounting or its equivalent. Language proficiency: English, Malay and Mandarin. Ability to work independently and hands-on personally. Highly responsible and dependable in character. Experience working in tech related industry is an advantage Experience in project investments is an advantage.
