About the Role
Responsible on closing and reporting for Group Reporting is completed timely and in accordance with established accounting standards and AIA Group's policies and requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
Responsible to prepare the month-end closing journal and manage closing tasks for Group Reporting.
Identify areas for improvement on SAS journal preparation and expedite the financial close for IFRS 17 and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Group Reporting related areas.
Prepare the financial report and IFRS templates and ensure all deliverables comply with AIA Group Accounting Policies and submit timely and accurately.
Responsible for preparing the interim and annual financial statement related to MFRS 17.
Analyse the monthly financial results under IFRS basis by collaborating with actuarial.
Attend to queries related to Group Reporting.
Liaise with Group Office, external auditors, and internal divisions on Group Reporting related matters.
Min Job Requirements:
A recognized Degree in Accounting or Professional Accountancy Qualification, with at least 4 years of relevant working experience.
Ability to work independently and possess good problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Excel; knowledge of SAP accounting system will be an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
