As a Financial Analyst at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for using and coordinating multiple sources of data to provide functional areas, management, and business units with forecasting results. You will also be responsible for analyzing data for plans and trends, as well as discrepancies and variances. As a Financial Analyst/ Sr. Financial Analyst, you will also be performing customer specific requests for ad hoc reporting. You will also be presenting your analysis to the various stakeholders through face-to-face meetings and conferences.Responsibilities and TasksCollect and Organize Required Metric DataNavigate information system applications (SAP, TM1, iECS, and LPI, etc.) to collect actual and forecast dataCombine and coordinate multiple sources of data from Finance and ManufacturingLoad data into financial systemsValidate Financial inputs to source dataArchive data inputs for record keepingAnalyze Financial DataValidate data and outputs for legitimacy and follow-up for discrepanciesBuild reports to summarize plan and trend variancesDocument and distribute explanations for plan and trend variances to management and other internal stakeholdersPerform ad hoc analysis based on customer requestsDesign, Develop, and Maintain Forecast ModelsIdentify need, scope, and system resourcesDesign and develop system solutionsValidate solutions through stakeholder feedback; modify accordinglyImplement and communicate model functionality and outputProvide training to stakeholders as neededPerform continuous process improvementsPresent Data Summaries and Provide ConsultationMaintain knowledge of SOX requirementsPresent a consolidated forecast according to customer requirementsHighlight areas of concern and provide recommendations for improvementsIdentify and explain assumptions and variances to planCoordinate summary presentation logisticsMaintain knowledge of internal and regulatory requirements (SOX, GAAP, Corporate Retention policy, etc.)About Micron Technology, Inc.
