The position is responsible for Time and Attendance (T&A), Payroll Liaison duties, accounts payable, and serves as the primary alternate cashier. The incumbent coordinates T&A reporting for Department of State & other agencies, liaises with Bangkok and Charleston Global Financial Service (GFS) Centers on allowances and other compensation matters for Americans and Locally Employed (LE) Staff, and performs accounts payable functions (e.g. utilities and telecommunications payments). In the absence of the Class B Cashier, the incumbent assumes the cashier accountability, fulfilling all cashiering responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS & EVALUATIONS:
Education:Successful completion of local secondary school (SPM) or high school graduation is required.
Experience:A minimum three (3) years of responsible experience in payroll timekeeping and submission, including one year of office administration, accounts payable, cashiering, or HR work, is required.
Language:Level 4 (Fluent) Speaking/ Reading/ Writing in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required (this may be tested).
Skills and Abilities:Must have tact and possess good written and verbal communications in dealing with employees on pay & allowance entitlements. Must have the ability and integrity to perform fiscal/financial services in a responsible manner and excellent attention to detail.
