Job Description: Qualifications: Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications (ACCA/CIMA/MIA).Minimum 10 years of progressive experience, including significant tenure as a Financial Controller in companies with an annual turnover of > RM200mil or in a senior position for companies with an annual turnover of > RM300mil.Expertise in accounting, corporate finance, taxation, and company law.Proficiency in transfer pricing and strategic planning.Technical proficiency in leveraging technology for efficiency gains.Skills: Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.Demonstrated leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.Responsibilities: Lead all finance activities including accounting, statutory and management reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, financial analysis, audit, internal controls, tax, and treasury.Partner with the CEO and operational heads to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.Drive long-term strategic planning initiatives.Oversee the day-to-day financial operations.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other regulatory requirements while mitigating financial risks.Provide robust financial analysis and guidance to management to enhance business performance.Develop and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with Group standards.Drive system enhancements, and process improvements, and maintain a strong control environment.Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.Lead or participate in special projects as assigned.
