Being part of the BV family, is more than just working, it's being convinced that you will leave your mark... in shaping a world of Trust.Job Responsibilities: Manage all accounting operations including Billing, Account Receivable, Account Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting Cash flow management Dealing with internal/external audits Research technical accounting issues for compliance Support month-end and year-end close process Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls Support any M&S, divestment, creation of new entity activities Additionally, other controller duties as necessary The position is for Commodities Industry & Facility Operating Group Job Requirements: Possess a Bachelor or Master Degree in Accountancy ACC qualification would be added advantage Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in accounting and finance Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Experience in creating financial statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/ year end close process Good communication and management skills Join an inclusive, flexible and diverse company where you can thrive while contributing to positively transforming the world we live in.
