Responsibilities:Manage and lead the timely preparation and submission of month end closing and Group consolidated financial statements and financial reports.
Provide commentary and analysis around the company's performance to the management team.
Responsible for timely submission of tax filings (e.g., income tax and SST) and statutory reports.
Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets and forecasts include Capex, Opex and Investment requirements.
Support strategic planning with financial modelling and scenario analysis.
Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions and organizational goals.
Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Management.
Responsible for the Company's cash flow management.
Act as a key liaison between the finance department and other business units.
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and relevant regulatory bodies.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
Assessment and controlling of Risk, Risk Management from Financial aspect and control systems.
Implement and control accounting policies & procedures.
Handle and arrange forex trading and hedging.
Build, maintain strong relationship and negotiate with international and domestic banks.
Negotiate with bankers to get the best financial rate for group investments.
Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve operational excellence.
Oversee the implementation and optimization of financial software and systems.
Requirements:Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent professional certified.
Possess MIA membership.
At least 15 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis/managerial experience.
Experience in IT/telecommunication industry is not essential but will be an added advantage.
Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information.
Able to work under minimal supervision, proactive, commit to deadlines, able to liaise with various stakeholders.
Strong business acumen with the ability to make strategic financial decisions.
Proactive, hands-on, and resourceful and able to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
