Financial Controller (Manufacturing)

Randstad is partnering with a Listed Manufacturing Group specialised in cement production here in Malaysia. The group is currently expanding their business and is presently looking to bring on board a new Financial Controller/ Senior Finance Manager to the team. This role will be based in their office in Sungai Buloh.
about the job Ensure compliance with Group policies and formulate new policies to drive growth and profitability. Plan and control the Company's financial and management accounting systems. Oversee all financial, accounting, and treasury activities, improving control procedures and reporting. Manage the Company's tax affairs efficiently. Develop and motivate a skilled Finance & Treasury staff to meet objectives. Analyze financial data, cash flow, budgets, and credit control, reporting findings to Management. Prepare and present financial reports to the Group office, improving the reporting format. Assess the financial impact of operational decisions, new businesses, and acquisitions. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, and prepare statutory accounts in accordance with FRS/IFRS, liaising with external auditors. Liaise with banks, negotiate financial facilities, and maintain long-term relationships. Perform additional duties as assigned by superiors.
requirements

Possess membership of recognised professional bodies of Accountants and MIA membership At least 6 years of financial & management accounting experience. Preferable with 3 years experience
in Big Four auditing firms. Well versed with FRS/IFRSExperienced in Costing and preferrably experienced in the manufacturing industry. Possess good leadership & management skills Possess good interpersonal and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
