Description
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant regulatory requirements. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any findings or recommendations. Controllership Functions:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial close activities. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure integrity of financial transactions. Transformation Initiatives:
Lead cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and drive initiatives to streamline financial processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to implement new systems, tools, and technologies to support business transformation efforts. Financial Analysis and Decision Support:
Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making at both operational and strategic levels. Partner with business leaders to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations to drive business growth and profitability. Change Management:
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and change readiness within the finance organization and across the broader company. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to build consensus, drive alignment, and ensure successful implementation of transformation initiatives. Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, controllership, or related roles, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and transformational change. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and internal control frameworks. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and influence decision-making.
