Your new roleLead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts in partnership with department heads.
Oversee departmental budgets to ensure they meet financial objectives and constraints.
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis, cost performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Perform variance analysis to compare actual performance with budgets and forecasts, and support ad-hoc financial analyses for specific organisational needs.
Develop dashboards and KPIs to track financial performance and trends.
Assist senior leadership by providing presentations and ad-hoc financial analyses.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data across all reporting systems.
Identify opportunities to improve financial planning and reporting processes.
Assist in the development and enhancement of reporting systems and software.
What you'll need to succeedBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent qualifications with experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or reputable consulting firm are advantageous.
Strong understanding of budgeting principles, financial planning, and reporting frameworks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
