Minimum 2 years of experience who have covered investment grade & high yield credits.Key Responsibilities:
To be part of the investment team and consistently promote investment ideas and update the team on the latest company/sector developments in written and verbal formats.
Undertake deep-dive research, financial modelling and conduct due diligence on companies/sectors with an objective to support the Fixed Income Desk.
Work closely with Relationship Managers/Dealing Team in pursuing their client strategies through proactive idea generation, including accompanying Relationship Managers/Dealing Team on client visits if needed.
Meet up with clients and conduct client seminars occasionally under guidance of senior colleagues.
Lead marketing and education efforts in fixed income (both online and offline) as well as participate in related projects.
Proactively monitor industry-wide news, events and/or developments that may impact the credit market.
Support team's efforts to generate revenue.
Support the team on ad hoc projects, strategic initiatives and exercises aimed at improving or enhancing the department's and/or team's activities and processes.Your expertise:
Sound knowledge and inherent interest in financial markets, with strong front to back knowledge across equities and fixed income.
A 360-degree awareness of Capital Market Products distributed to the Wealth Management arena be it from a client-facing, operational or regulatory perspective.
Strong analytical and marketing skills, preferably with client-facing experience.
Methodical, concise and accurate, with strong attention to detail.
Able to generate investment ideas, provide implementable solutions and distribute ideas widely.
Media ambassador for the desk, answer bond inquiries from media and press.
Attending credit investor calls and keep updated with the issuer.
Maintain the Phillip Bond's social media and website.
Conduct regular fixed income webinars for client awareness and education.
Adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills.
