Position Overview:
The Food and Beverages (F&B) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the F&B department, ensuring excellent service delivery, staff performance, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency while supporting the overall objectives of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Manage and oversee daily F&B operations, including service, preparation, and cleanliness.
Ensure all tasks and activities align with company policies and procedures.
Address and resolve any operational challenges promptly.
Team Management:
Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of F&B staff.
Prepare and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
Promote teamwork and a positive work environment.
Customer Service Excellence:
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.
Address guest complaints and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Monitor service delivery to ensure consistency and quality.
Inventory and Resource Management:
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
Minimize waste and control costs while maintaining quality standards.
Ensure proper storage and handling of F&B supplies.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards.
Conduct regular inspections of the premises and equipment.
Implement and enforce food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Financial Accountability:
Assist in budgeting and forecasting for the F&B department.
Monitor sales and expenses to ensure profitability.
Maintain accurate records of daily transactions, revenue, and costs.
Event and Function Coordination:
Plan and manage special events, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Liaise with clients and other departments to meet event requirements.
Reporting and Communication:
Prepare and submit reports on operational performance, sales, and customer feedback.
Communicate effectively with management and staff to ensure alignment on goals.
Requirements:
Education: Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years in a supervisory role within the F&B industry.
Skills:
