Job Description
This role will focus on product development from idea to prototype.
We create food and beverages of the future right at FUBIZO in our labs, primarily serving the food manufacturing industry.
You'll need to be a creative thinker capable of challenging the status quo and solving interesting problems with the guidance of our experienced food scientists.
The main product categories we focus on are beverages, snacks, dairy goods, meat products, and condiments (seasoning, sauces, curry paste).
Your job will be dynamic, and every day will be exciting!
General Job Scope:
Day-to-day setup, cleanup, and sanitation of premises
Maintain a log of all activities conducted and accounts
Provide a brief summary of daily activities by the end of every working day
Assist in the development of prototypes, modifications, and experimentation of products
Prepare food and beverage products
Expected Skills:
Detail-oriented, important for lab work and prototype development
Ability to create recipes to enhance food/beverage flavor
Hardworking and eager to learn; quick learner
Ability to work independently
Integrity; maintaining health and hygiene is a MUST
Able to work in a food lab/manufacturing plant/preparation kitchen setting
Basic Requirements:
Candidate must be pursuing or have obtained a Certificate or Diploma in baking, beverage making, or culinary arts
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
No work experience required; better to have at least 1 year
Experience as a kitchen helper in the F&B field is an advantage
Some knowledge of food preparation is mandatory
Must be able to work at Simpang Ampat, Penang, Malaysia
Those with certificates/diplomas in Food Handling are HIGHLY PREFERRED
Full training provided
Fixed work hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am - 6 pm
No need to work on weekends and public holidays
