Food Service Assistant

Main Duties/Responsibilities •To deliver patient meals and mid-meal snacks from Dietary Services and serve to patient's bedside
•To collect soiled trays from patients upon completion of meals.
•To assist in setting up of in-house catering items and deliver to designated venue as assigned. Provide waitressing service if requested.
•To clean working areas regularly and perform weekly general cleaning as directed
•To check that the situation of the services is safe before closing at the end of the afternoon shift, such as ensuring the switches are off, storeroom, back and entrance doors are locked properly and temperature of all chillers and freezers are within range and in good condition.
•Ensure all policies and procedures of Integrated Management System (IMS), ISO 22000 and / or Hospital Accreditation are adhered to and records maintained, if and when programs are implemented

Requirements: •SPM.
•Ability to speak and understand Malay and English language
•Clean and pleasant appearance, team working, able to follow instructions.
