Job DescriptionJob Overview:
Due to the decoupling strategy, more and more suppliers are expanding their production sites to Malaysia. It is necessary to have a local purchasing team located in Malaysia to support this strategy and assist in supplier development as well as participate in supplier enabling activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Project and commercial responsibility for Foundry purchasing within ME/PUR1-SO.
Responsible for PCN (part change notification): evaluate and track RPP potential and participate in regular meetings.
Responsible for PTN (part termination notification): analyze and check product portfolio for ASIC and MOSFET.
Cost claim management in PgP5 for Foundry suppliers.
1st Level support in Malaysia for Foundry suppliers' topics in Muar/Singapore/Kulim/Malacca + IND/Bataam: e.g., transportation and incoterms.
Interface with business units and other stakeholders within ME-SO, e.g., MFT, PCB, PPX, QMM, PRM, CTG.
Collaborate with local residents from MFX and the local SO team in Malaysia.
QualificationsMinimum of 3 to 5 years working experience in a related field in a semiconductor manufacturing environment with practical experience in Project Management & Commercial Purchasing.
Possess a Master's or Bachelor's Degree in commercial, engineering, supply chain, or a semiconductor-related field.
Proven experience in commercial, engineering, or supply chain background with experience in semiconductor or electronic components.
Diversity to work with a global team; international background is preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); German and/or Mandarin skills are a plus.
Possess high team spirit and ability to moderate meetings/workshops with all levels.
Know-how of digitalization is welcomed, e.g., Power BI, Dashboard.
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset preferred.
Ability to think strategically about category and supplier management with a problem-solving orientation.
