The Anytime Fitness Franchise Support Consultant is an experienced fitness leader with a strong background in fitness business management, brand compliance, education, and coaching and is a true ambassador of the Anytime Fitness Brand and Culture.
The Support Manager is a charismatic role model who inspires excellence from all stakeholders within the network of Anytime Fitness clubs within the country of responsibility.
The Franchise Support Consultant is similar to a business coach whereby you will be required to effectively communicate with and inspire franchisees by giving them purpose to increase effectiveness, broaden their thinking, identify strengths and development needs and set and achieve challenging goals.
You will be able to do this by: Building relationships - building trust amongst current and new franchisees, including those that may have previously stated that they do not require assistance, but you believe you can offer assistance.
Providing assessments - What is their current level of performance and a variety of key areas and what is their goal?
Focusing on gaps and inconsistencies, on current performance, words vs. actions and intention vs. impact, you will provide regular assessments as needed.
Challenging thinking and assumptions - Using a coaching method that empowers franchisees and their key operators the ability to find their own solutions while facilitating the understanding of the importance of following the AF guidelines, systems, trainings and overcoming objections.
Supporting and encouraging - As partners in learning, coaches listen carefully, are open to the perspectives of others and allow franchisees/employees to vent emotions without judgment.
They encourage franchisees/employees to make progress toward their goals, and they recognize their successes.
Driving results - What can you show for it?
Effective coaching is about aiding in the creation of action plans, accountability and achieving goals - the SM assists in identifying specific behaviors and/or steps for meeting them.
Through coaching, the SM helps to clarify milestones or measures of success and holds the franchisees/employees accountable for them.
Duties include, but are not limited to, supporting franchisee's needs, providing training and guidance to ensure that clubs operate in line with Anytime Fitness guidelines and to support profitability, development and coaching that inspires progressive growth and club culture.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION Education: University degree in business management/marketing/digital marketing/e-commerce Equivalent Work/Life Experience.
Experience: Minimum 5 years' progressive working experience in business operations Broad knowledge across systems, content strategy and online selling.

Be able to speak effectively before groups of customers, clients, and other employees of the organization in the required language.
Math Ability: Possess the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as budgets, revenue, sales performance statistics, and productivity reports.
Be Able to apply basic statistical analysis and to relay data to the leadership team.
Be able to generate graphs and create basic formulas using Microsoft Excel Reasoning Ability: Possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form from the leadership team.
Be able to effectively solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations in all systems within the administrational process.
Be able to effectively assess when to seek assistance from the leadership team and when to appropriately take initiative.
Be able to accept constructive feedback and to utilize this feedback in a constructive manner.
Roles and Responsibilities Ensure all Anytime Fitness Clubs are pursuing a gold standard of excellence, which criteria are determined by Anytime Fitness Asia, to protect the Anytime Fitness brand and ensure member satisfaction Provide at all times an "excellent" level of support for our franchisees' needs for our 24/7 clubs through regular club visits, coaching discussions, execution planning sessions, follow up and consistent detailed feedback Coach management strategies to ensure all clubs within the country are operational and brand compliant Consult and coach franchisees and their team in implementing effectives sales and member retention strategies Perform quality assurance measures at all Anytime Fitness clubs within the country If personal presence is not available due to scheduling or location limitations, remotely monitor gym performance and provide coaching services to struggling franchisees and their team Work with clubs through fit-out, presale, and opening phases Learn and master the process of starting up an Anytime Fitness club from fit-out, opening and regular operations Be self-efficient in the management of your time to properly plan, coordinate, communicate and execute your club support plans.
All plans will be made in advance (at least 1 week or 7 days) prior to the beginning of each month Complete regular administrative duties in keeping detailed records for all franchisees that support is provided as well as their staff whom you provide support for Learn and become an expert in all software support systems that are used by our franchisees to manage their business Provide initial training and onboarding Understanding the AF brand and its training programs to successfully train new franchisees and their staff in order to be profitable Provide ongoing training on sales, marketing, and all other aspects of club operation Evaluate training needs based on club data, club visits, feedback and any other mode necessary and then provide appropriate training needs based on the evaluation Ensure training continually meets the growth of the club and the learning of the owners and staff Conduct educational programs designed by Anytime Fitness Asia, which include classroom and online courses as well as onsite job training Effectively communicate with departments on club related issues Ensure communication is always open and effective Club visit procedures Establish a schedule that includes the current clubs and new clubs Establish a set procedure so that club visits are consistent across the board therefor ensuring each club is getting 100% support Schedule, plan and execute regular training programs (ie.
Vitals, Purple Standards and Conference, etc.)
When required, present training programs to ensure consistent application of AF standards Coach Franchisee to grow and develop culture inside their clubs Leading and inspiring franchisees to implement AF culture at all times, member management through to community reach programs.
Coach best practices, and experience to franchisees Ensure all clubs are operating under best practices Be available and flexible for travel - As a Coach 2 inspire you will sometimes be required to travel to various locations within your respective country as you provide support and guidance.
You may also be needed to travel to other countries for your ongoing training and development Reporting to AFA Establish a club visit schedule on a monthly basis (submitted at least 7 days prior to the beginning of every month Report to AFA on all club visits by way of detailed support summaries that include action plans, responsible parties for execution and when this will be followed up Report on expected club growth from support as well as the details of their progression Any additional reporting that may be required to support the growth of Anytime Fitness within your respective country Ensure Support coaching tools are used in driving best practices and in securing franchise buy in.
