Freelance Business Development Manager – Oil and GasResponsibilities:
Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and strategically target potential clients within the oil and gas industry, including operators, service companies, and contractors.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts, positioning Oracle Tools as the preferred choice for oilfield equipment solutions.
Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies, helping to achieve both short-term and long-term business goals.
Lead Generation and Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate leads, enhance brand visibility, and stay informed of market trends and competitor activities.
Proposal and Contract Management: Oversee the preparation and negotiation of proposals, quotations, and contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
Market Analysis and Reporting: Conduct market research to understand trends, emerging needs, and competitive dynamics, providing insights and recommendations for business growth.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role in the oil and gas industry, ideally within the tools and equipment sector.
Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of oil and gas operations, drilling, completions, and intervention, with insight into industry trends and challenges.
Sales Acumen: Strong track record in sales and business development, with a talent for negotiation and closing deals.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively present technical information and solutions to diverse audiences.
Networking Ability: Excellent networking skills, with established contacts within the oil and gas industry a significant advantage.
Self-Motivated: Able to work independently with minimal supervision and drive business objectives proactively.
