Freight Specialist

Job Description
To become the focal point of contact for customers
To source for competitive rates from liner, airlines and respective vendors both air/sea.
To provide quotation to customers from the customers bidding process
To follow customer requirements on billing process on customer systems if applicable
To provide daily or weekly reports of shipment movement and status.
To work closely with sales department, finance and other related departments.
Qualifications
Fluent in English and Malay, both written and verbal
Minimum 2-3 years of freight specialist experience in air/sea freight forwarding (sourcing of rates)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience managing oil & gas logistics is an advantage.
