Front Office Assistants play an important role in forming a quality image of the hotel as the guest's first impression when coming to the reception area:
Responsible for smooth check-in, check-out, posting all transactions, and reporting.
Maintain a positive appearance, proper grooming, and keep tidy.
Pay full attention to guest's demands, especially when handling any complaints.
Provide assistance to guests who have health problems by offering a first aid kit or doctor's service.
Handle wake-up call requests.
Prepare and organize handling of group check-in and check-out.
Inform superiors and all service areas in case of sleep out, as well as the guest regarding the sleep out policy.
Respond promptly, completely, and cheerfully to all guest questions, problems, and requests.
Ensure comprehensive knowledge of the city and what is happening within the city at all times, ensuring that all guest inquiries are met with prompt, informative yet friendly solutions.
Inform the superior of all outstanding balances of the guests for further action (lock out).
Ensure the guest understands and is properly informed regarding the late check-out policy.
Able to operate the switchboard in the operator room in case of replacement needed and daily rolling.
Note in the logbook all guest in-house special requests for the next day.
Conduct any other duty assigned by supervisor or management.
Job Requirements:
At least 1 year experience as hotel receptionist or equivalent.
Minimum SPM/Diploma in Hotel Management.
Positive attitude and good communication skills.
Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
Excellent grooming standards.
Calm, efficient, and organized with great attention to detail.
Fresh graduates from Hotel Management are encouraged to apply.
