Responsibilities
Front desk telephone answeringHandle room booking via phone, internet and walk – in.Check in & check out room guest.Department coordination ensuring room guest comfortGuest relationsCashieringNight auditor.Processes reservations by e-mail, telephone, telex, cable, fax or central reservation systems referral.Processes reservations from the sales office, other hotel departments, and travel agents.Open and close the availability as and when required of hotel to all the Travel Agent, OTA and Hotel systemCreate and maintain reservation records by date of arrival and alphabetical listing.Prepares letters of confirmation/invoice/Performa invoiceUnderstands the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.
