Vacancy - Functional Analyst / Product ManagerLocation - Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaJD1. Part of the Functional team at FinTech and will be responsible for Development / Implementation / Support of FinTech software products.2. Collecting and documenting requirements from clients, coordinating with product development team for delivery3. Validating and testing of functionality, conduct detailed tests, contributing to continuous enrichment of user guides / manuals4. Implement the product at client site, as part of Implementation, will be responsible for supporting the users in user acceptance tests, conducting user training, coordinating with technical teams, documenting user requirements, assisting in data migration / reconciliation and reporting5. Providing support to existing clients on the product6. Ability to work as per client's working hours7. Manage releases from the product team to the client installationsRequirement1. Should be either from BA background or accounting background.2. Knowledge of SQL / Microsoft Excel / Microsoft PowerPoint / Microsoft Word is a plus.4. Different asset classes and their attributes. Specifically, Equity and Fixed Income instruments5. Corporate actions and how they impact holding6. Various analytical ratios such as Modified Duration, Sharpe ratio, Treynor ratio, TWRR, Yield etc7. NAV and its components and so on8. Investment accounting, Bank Ledger entries9. Educational Background: Finance / Commerce Graduates10. Should be either from BA background or accounting background.11. Knowledge of SQL / Microsoft Excel / Microsoft PowerPoint / Microsoft Word is a plus.Exposure / Understanding of the following areas is a pre-requisite:1.Understanding of all asset classes (Equities, Bonds, Derivatives, Fixed Income, Mutual Funds, Forex etc.) and examples of each type.2.Attributes of each of these asset classes.3. Experience in Fund Reporting especially with Hedge Funds or AIFs.4. Investment Accounting (General Ledger)5. Understanding of various types of corporate actions6. Understanding of NFO, IPO, Primary Market, Secondary Market etc7. NAV Calculation8. Various types of fees associated with a trade and basic understanding of each fee9. Basic understanding of how accounting is done for each type of transaction.10.
