You have an opportunity to personally thrive, make a difference and be part of a culture where individuality is noticed and valued every day.Job purposeOversee general accounting function including journal entries is entered into the company's accounting ledger accurately with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and month end reconciling account balances, bank statements reconciliation up to month-end close activities in accounting system, to produce accurate information and financial statement to client's management team for analysis and decision making.Duties and responsibilities Report to main supervisor/Country manager /client's manager and work with management to smooth the month end, quarter end and year end closing activities.
Prepares information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends as and when required by management.
Perform GA regular accounting processes such as journal entries, reconciliation, month-end closing activities Supervise Junior / Senior GA Analyst on regular accounting processes such as journal entries, reconciliation, month-end closing activities and monitoring DTP update.
Guiding Junior / Senior GA Analyst on daily tasks are working in efficiently in the team and team progress.
Monitor and approve Junior / Senior GA Analyst leave, absence and working schedules by organizing team backup and rotation as and when needed.
Problem solving and assists Junior / Senior GA Analyst when issues arise.
To collaborate a team GA Specialist monthly accounting periods closed activities for a company or few entities for a company.
Co-ordinate feedback necessary questions to the client that served and quarterly meeting /discussion with the sector on keys issues arise during month end closed.
Maintains accounting controls by reviewing with recommending policies and procedures in DTP for client served.
Ensure GA team members update the DTP from time to time on yearly basis.
Review periodically individual team member progress and job scope and effectively manage the team development.
Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management from time to time such as to lead project for new transition and etc.
Qualifications Degree in Accounting with minimum 5 years or more in GA relevant experiences or full set of accounts.
At least 5 years in SAP experience.
MNC share service exposure is preferable.
Good communication skills in written and spoken in Mandarin & English.
Computer literally especially excels basic and intermediate level (Pivot, formula) words and presentation skills.
Project management skills will be value added.
Personality with responsible, tactful, good in communication and problem solving skills.
Able to work under pressure during month end closed and ad-hoc support as and when required.
