General Insurance Specialist, Commercial BancassuranceAccount & Relationship Management (Banking & Financial Services)
This role required to work closely with the Relationship Manager/ Team Head/ Regional Head as well as insurance provider to generate Bancassurance fee-based income to the division.
Responsible for achieving assigned bancassurance target and maximize cross selling and upselling opportunity for assigned SME & Business Banking portfolio.
Jointly develop with the Relationship Manager/ Team Head/ Regional Head to implement effective sales strategies and action plan to promote insurance solutions and achieve the targeted fee-based income set.
Onboard new General Insurance business in collaboration with relevant internal sales team and life insurance providers.
Monitor the business performance and take proactive corrective action where necessary to promote growth while maintaining profitability.
Customer Relationship Management
Joint sales with Relationship Manager/ Team Head/ Regional Head in recommending holistic and suitable business insurance solutions that meet client needs via thorough needs assessment and recommendations to borrowing & non-borrowing customers.
Work closely with internal teams & insurance provider to facilitate seamless client experience from proposal to post servicing General Insurance.
Training & Support
Subject matter experts to coach, guide and support the Relationship Manager/ Team Head/ Regional Head to spot opportunities and grow the General Insurance business.
Market Analysis & Reporting
Support & perform market intelligence on competitor analysis to provide insight and input to respective internal and/or insurance providers team to develop competitive enabler/products/process enhancement that suits SME & Business Banking channel.
Reporting Management (Submission, Production and Penders)
End to end sales tracking, submission and follow up on all sales related activities/matter (Ie: Sales performance report/ Customer enquiry/ Sales Submission/ Referral listing/ Customer Claim etc.)
within stipulated timeframe.
Compliance & Risk Management
Maintains high compliance and sales discipline benchmark in accordance with Bank's and regulatory guidelines.
Willing and take on additional tasks and/or projects when assigned from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Business studies or equivalent.
At least 3 to 5 years of relevant financial sales experience, preferably banking & insurance related.
Possess relevant insurance license (Ie: PCEIA & TBE).
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
Willing to travel, result oriented, dynamic and self-driven.
Proficiency to converse well in Bahasa & English.
Able to converse in Chinese and/or dialect will be added advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
