General Manager - Capacity and Digital DevelopmentTo proactively develop and maintain relationships across Government and Industry to increase the awareness of Business Events Sarawak and obtain stakeholder engagement and advocacy with the ultimate goals of:
Maximising support for bid opportunities for Sarawak,
Establishing a stronger working relationship with the main stakeholders, government and private sector, and;
Maximising quality of service delivery by the business events (BE) sector of Sarawak to ensure repeat and referred business.
Leads the department in formulating Customer Relationship Management strategies and programmes/campaigns and ensures that they stay aligned with the bureau's overall objectives.
Lead and oversee the overall Bureau's ICT management.
What are we looking for?
Degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism or equivalent qualification.
Minimum ten years of working experience, including three years in top management.
Excellent oral, written and business presentation skills – including a good knowledge of International Business English.
Knowledge of business plans and strategies with a focus on the Business Event industry.
Strong leadership skills to lead the department.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent strategic planning skills.
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.

It is Malaysia's first convention bureau whose primary role is to market, promote and position Sarawak as the preferred destination for Business Events consisting of corporate meetings, corporate incentives, conventions, and exhibitions. Our Roles:
