General Manager, F & B, Klang Valley

Our client is a well-established food chain with 40 halal outlets across Malaysia.
In line with their growth plank, they are hiring an experienced General Manager to lead the operations and business Key Responsibilities 1.
Financial Perspective Collaborate and align with Operations Managers, Heads of Department and business associates to drive revenue growth and increase market share through various platforms, ie.
negotiating for better business deals, expanding customer-based, introducing new/improvised products & services, pursuing partnership & collaborations and developing additional business avenues.
Consolidate and oversee budget, spending, financial forecast and resource allocation to achieve financial performance and operational targets.
Collaborate with C-Suite/Board of Directors on strategic initiatives via conducting feasibility studies, making business proposals, implementing business plans to meet SGG business goals and objectives.
Monitor political & economic situation in Malaysia to forecast business threats and opportunities in minimizing business risks and identifying business opportunities for the company.

Customer Perspective Partner marketing and operations team to create and implement effective marketing & branding strategies, monitor brand recognition, create awareness programs to enhance brand image and drive revenue growth by retaining existing and acquiring new customers.
Improve customer satisfaction rating.
Develop and implement plans to acquire and manage customer information, possibly through CRM or internal databases.

Operations Perspective Collaborate with Country Head, Director of Management Services, Operations Manager and Head of Department to ensure operational standards, process efficiency, food quality and brand consistency.
Review and ensure adherence to policies guidelines & procedures, maintain accurate records, instil proper operational controls, administrative and reporting for effective management and target achievement.
Provide leadership to ensure compliance with brand standards, franchise agreements, business codes of conduct, governance framework & principles and applicable laws & regulations.
Lead quick and effective responses to all operational and business-related matters, as well as formulate and execute strategies for preventing and managing crises or emergencies.

People Perspective Set clear goals with performance metrics and oversee their achievement through effective leadership in attracting, managing, developing and retaining key talents.
Work with HR to foster a success-oriented and outcome driven culture, promote engaging and high performing leaders who drive and deliver business initiatives.
Collaborate with HR to develop people strategies that align with SGG vision, mission and core value.
Ensure understanding and commitment of adoption and execution by all employees.

Others Perform any other additional responsibilities as assigned by Reporting Superior and/or C-Suite members.
Job requirements Degree in business, entrepreneurship, management, finance or related field.
At least 10 years proven experience in a leadership or management role in an MNC or a Company with more than 40 outlets in Malaysia, including with min.
5 years exposure in food & beverage industry.
Good understanding of Malaysia business environment, competitive landscape and operational challenges in F&B sector.
Proficient in managing the entire restaurant business process, including budgeting and forecasting with strong numerical instincts.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with proven track record in improving financial and operational results.
Excellent people skills with good leadership and management qualities.
Good verbal and written communication in English/national language with impactful presentation skills and a competent public speaker.
Self-disciplined, outcome-driven person with dynamic personality to always strive for better results.
Business travel and working on weekends/public holidays is required at times.
Expected to display Company's core values at all times.
Remuneration: RM 20,000 - 25,000 Consultant in Charge Angel Chok | ****** | 014 612 6048 Traveling allowance & Handphone allowance Insurance , medical benefits, leave, etc are standard with the market
