Commercial building owners and occupants use ourtechnologies to ensure their facilities are safe, energy efficient, sustainableand productive.BA is looking for General Manager ROA to support itscurrent ~$300 Mn USD regional business with high growth potential.
The rolewill be responsible for multiple business across ROA, including Projects andServices and Product Businesses.
This is a key role in BA, targeted next rolewill be VPGM India + ROA, Global GBE leader/ functional leader role.
The GM willbe accountable for providing strategic and operational leadership to thestrategy, marketing and sales efforts across BA ROA.
He or She is responsiblefor developing a robust strategic plan and its execution with an emphasis ondriving technology enablement, product innovation, Sales and build strongexecution capability with support of ISC, CX, Finance and HR function in theregion.
This position directly reports to VPGM of India and ROA andmatrix reports to President Honeywell APAC.
Specific responsibilities include:Establish business plans for the region to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
Develop marketplace opportunities, lead sales pursuits, oversee internal processes, and provide employee leadership in the achievement of common goals.
Drive business objective achievement through effective cross-functional and regional relationship building.
Drive employee engagement via effective Positive Employee Relations plans.Lead a team to define and deliver value for Honeywell and customers through effective prioritization of regional objectives.Work through global business leadership to not only develop ROA business strategies but to ensure the strategies are well executed to drive results.Assure annual operation objectives are met, including but not limited to revenue, gross margin, cash flow, etc.
Motivate and develop regional team to perform at optimal levelsCreate a high-performance regional team, coach and develop talent for larger roles in BA and for HoneywellEnsure you have succession plan for your role at least two candidates ready in short span of time.Partner closely with global GBE leaders to build a regional BA strategy that aligns with global strategy but reflects the local competitive dynamic and unique growth opportunities present in the region.Address new business opportunities with appropriate strategy and organizational structuresBuild/maintain high-level customer relationship; develop programs for strong/trusted partnerships with key customersIn conjunction with key internal and external stakeholders, interface and influence key senior management and decision makers within BA and client organizations to enable decisions in favor of BA offerings.
Develop and maintain high-level contacts with BA customers, Sales Intermediaries, suppliers and key decision makersDevelop and maintain effective Management operating system (periodic connects) & RAILs with achievable goals and objectives Basic Requirements An undergraduate degree in technical/engineering discipline is required along with an MBA from a preferred institute.At least 15 years work experience with at least 5 years of experience leading a regional P&L of 400-500 Mn USDExperience of Multinational company for a better cultural fit with experience of both Products and Solutions Business, should have worked in a matrix environment.Demonstrated experience driving growth and organization changeAbility to motivate and build high performing teams.Experience the successfulcandidate should bring:Proven strategy formulation and product/business positioning skillsSolid commercial development and marketing expertise in a B2B environment with significant growth expectation; broad strategic analysis skill set complimented with a detail orientation.Global operations exposure, with experience in developing effective global business strategies and marketing plans across many different operating environments.International experience and culturally savvy.Results to growing a business with profitable, organic and acquisition-oriented initiatives that leverage a company's core technology, cost and competitive advantages.Experience with the implementation of growth, new business development and marketing initiatives that lead to stronger market penetration.Proven ability to successfully direct start-up business opportunities, including market assessment, strategic planning, objective setting and implementation.Track record of establishing short- and long-term market and product growth goals, then executing operating plans to achieve them.Strong business acumen, in-depth understanding of the marketing and financial implications of new opportunities.Ability to understand and add value to high-level management interactions, with a proven ability to develop and "sell" creative business strategies.Experience managing in a matrixed and lean culture that continuously prioritizes operational excellence.Leadership skills, energy and team capability; the ability to lead and motivate, share vision, inspire work with colleagues.
