They have experience in most issues that may arise, although require guidance with new assignments or assignments outside normal scope of work.
They manage projects with oversight from their supervisorManages accounting system maintenance to ensure accurate reflection of BU financial status.Creates journal entries and supporting documentation to ensure accurate reporting.Periodically reviews key account reconciliations.
Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactionsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or professional qualification Minimum working experience of 1+ years, preferably in an accounting firm and/or MNC Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.Excellent communication skills & proficient in EnglishSkilled in using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint etc).
Oracle / SAP user knowledge is an added advantage.
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills critical thinking Strong time management and organization skills with the ability to multi-task Results oriented, flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and a team player Able to work independently and communicate effectively with all levels of management and staffGeneral Ledger Accounting - Position's General Duties & Tasks:The successful candidate will be responsible for global general ledger accounting (bank / payroll / fixed assets / intercompany / tax & statutory).Responsibilities include monthly accounting close activities (i.e.
preparing & posting journal entries, analyzing financial statements & ledger activities), prepare balance sheet reconciliations, fluctuation analysis on balance sheet items and support monthly/quarterly reporting requirement.This position will require interaction with the operations team, other finance teams including project accountants within the organization to perform the accounting tasks & close the accounting issues.Involve in continuous process improvement and simplification project.
