Position Summary Responsible in supporting HR development, organisational development and HR operational initiatives for JJ-Lurgi, including the ongoing global expansion.In close consultation with the senior management team of JJ-Lurgi, CHRO as well as company representatives of each country location, deliver value-added services and advisory pertaining to people matters while ensuring alignment of business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. This will also include evaluation, planning the design, developing, execution and implementation of the Business Unit's (BU) HR development projects to meet the BU's long-range and short-range goals and objectives. Key Responsibilities Expansion of JJ-Lurgi globallySupport the BU in setting up global teams in its expansion plan to Europe, India (& Middle East) and South America. This includes working with company representatives in sourcing, recruiting, hiring and onboarding of candidates.Work with 3rd party vendors, Group HR and legal team to ensure all HR processes and legalities are covered and validate relevant HR operational activities in these regions (where there are no local HR support).2. Organisation Development Programme
Support the CEO in senior management planning and organisation to ensure that the global management team is continuously improvedPlan, establish and execute long- range and short-range goals, objectives and priorities for the Organisation Development and associated programmes.Set-up the graduate engineer programme with the purpose to achieve a strong bench strength of technical talent.Enhance the internship programme to promote high conversion to full-time employment.3. Organisation Development Function
Work with Group HR to survey, diagnose, and analyse organisational health and development as well as specific issues.Work with the senior management to develop recommendations and action plans based on the mutually recognised diagnostic findings.Follow-through the implementation of action plans, and thereafter gather feedback on the effectiveness.4. Performance Management
Work with Senior Management and Group HR in establishing and implementing systems and procedures for the appraisal of individual performances and ensure that these systems serve to enhance the overall corporate performance relative to the goals and objectives established for the BU respectively by the Company.5. Career Development
Assist the Senior Management and Talent Committee in the design and implementation of technical career ladder plans and programmes aimed at developing internal talent for senior technical positions throughout the company.Ensure and follow-through on Individual Development Plans with the superiors, and highlight issues and recommendations to the Talent Committee.6. Others
Handle secondment of staff to global locations, including work permits, unions, compensation and benefits review etc. Perform ad-hoc duties as and when being assigned by management.Qualification & Experience Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalentAt least 8 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a management/ supervisory roleGood communication and interpersonal skillsHas the drive to innovate and do things differently and better Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and highly adaptable Good liaison and negotiation skillsKnowledge of labor laws etc. in the countries where JJ-Lurgi operates is a significant advantage
