We are seeking a dynamic Mandarin HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support and enhance all HR functions within a designated region. The ideal candidate will drive HR processes, align HR strategy with business goals, and ensure a positive, compliant, and high-performing work environment. You will manage key HR functions such as employee onboarding, offboarding, contract management, performance evaluations, and talent development. As an HRBP, you will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, offering tailored HR solutions to meet their needs while supporting employee satisfaction and retention.
The successful candidate will also take a lead in facilitating employee performance management, promoting talent development initiatives, and providing insights on workforce planning. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to ensure a well-structured approach to human capital management that aligns with organizational growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee all employee HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, transfers, offboarding, and contract management, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Performance Management: Implement and manage performance evaluation processes, including setting performance goals, reviewing results, and conducting performance discussions to drive continuous improvement and organizational growth.
Talent Development: Design, execute, and monitor talent development programs, including identifying key talent for growth, implementing employee training plans, and ensuring effective career development across the organization.
Employee Relations: Foster a positive employee environment by conducting regular one-on-one discussions, monitoring employee morale, addressing concerns, and maintaining strong relationships between employees and management.
Workforce Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to create and execute annual human resources planning, including talent assessments, manpower forecasting, and role-specific competency development.
HR Strategy Alignment: Act as a trusted HR partner to business leaders, understanding their challenges and providing strategic HR solutions tailored to meet evolving business needs.
Risk Management: Ensure HR operations comply with local labor laws and internal policies to mitigate labor-related risks, proactively managing employee relations and addressing issues in a timely manner.
Job Description and Competency Management: Maintain and update job descriptions, role requirements, and performance standards for key positions, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals.
Qualifications: Willing to work in Mandya or Mysore, Karnataka, India. Fluency in both Chinese and English or Hindi is required. Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in the manufacturing or apparel industry. In-depth knowledge of core HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, and HR operations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with leaders and employees. Background in the manufacturing industry or experience in large-scale HR operations is preferred. This role reports directly to the General Manager of the India manufacturing base and the Chief Human Resources Officer.
