We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning and Material Control (PMC) Manager to oversee the production scheduling, shipment arrangements, and material planning for our apparel manufacturing operations.
In this role, you will manage end-to-end production processes, ensuring timely procurement of materials and smooth coordination of shipments for key clients.
You will also oversee the management of both raw material and finished goods warehouses to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure efficient operations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production planning, procurement management, and warehouse operations within the apparel or bag manufacturing sector.
Strong data analysis skills and the ability to plan ahead are critical for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities: Manage production scheduling and shipment planning for clients, ensuring that deadlines are met and customer expectations are exceeded. Oversee material planning and procurement for large-scale production, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials. Take full responsibility for the comprehensive management of warehouses, including both raw material and finished goods storage, ensuring proper inventory control and organization. Collaborate closely with internal teams to optimize production flow and ensure alignment between production capacity and client demands. Qualifications: Willing to work in Mandya or Mysore, Karnataka, India. Fluency in both Chinese and English is required. Bachelor's degree or higher. Proven experience in production scheduling and planning within the bag or apparel manufacturing industry. Experience in coordinating shipment schedules and managing large-scale procurement processes. At least 5 years of experience in warehouse and procurement management. Strong ability to plan ahead and a keen sense of data analysis for accurate forecasting and production alignment. This position reports directly to the General Manager of the India manufacturing base.
