Job Description
Understand market and technology trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities that can positively or negatively impact our growth. Use validated data to develop a market roadmap, focused on targeted business opportunities, identifying key subsegments, potential growth areas (by application, opportunity value, and time frame). Included in this proactive market coverage is the evaluation and recommendation of continued investment or pivot strategies of each subsegment within target time frames.
Lead the development and execution of GTM plans for identified market opportunities and products including regional customer business development and penetration plans, application-specific opportunities, and align on key deliverables for market handover to regional sales teams.
Proactively monitor customer and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, inform strategic decisions, and adjust tactics (GTM) accordingly.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar technical field highly preferred, or equivalent tangible experience.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in product marketing, sales, customer service, or engineering in the market vertical being represented.
International business and travel experience a plus; ability to travel up to 40%.
Solid leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to gain alignment from stakeholders and lead across functional and geographic boundaries. Strong communication skills and influencing capabilities.
CRM proficient. Ability to perform complex business analysis.
