Job Description Global Supply Planner acts as the lead interface to manufacturing sites / DC sites to resolve supply issues relating to the production / customer delivery for which she/he is responsible.Buys materials, Finish goods, components, equipment and services from worldwide supplier using preferred suppliers at the negotiated price.Coordinates diversified and complex purchasing activities with all functional departments acquiring goods and services in a cost effective and timely manner.Guarantee customer satisfaction of internal stakeholders among the supply process.Partner with external manufacturers / EMS / ODM to determine optimal supply schedule.Work closely with the external manufacturers / EMS / ODM to guarantee the production requirements and create a materials and capacity feasible short term production plan.Lead weekly and monthly local supply team meeting to determine and communicate feasible schedule for the next week / month and ensure that all parties are aligned.Escalates supply/demand imbalances as appropriate.Generates reports and other correspondence as needed.
Drive weekly metrics / KPI and achieve the given goal.Ad hoc problems solving: payment, receiving, invoicing, logistic arrangement etc.Basic RequirementsMinimum qualification - Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/Management or any related field.At least 2-3 years of working experience in Supply Chain or any related field.ERP/MRP (Oracle, SAP, etc.)
