Develop and maintain relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and relevant stakeholders. Monitor and analyze government policies, regulations, and legislative developments affecting the company. Advise internal teams on government affairs strategies to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Tender Management
Lead the end-to-end tender process, including identifying tender opportunities, preparing documentation, and submitting proposals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for tender submissions. Ensure all tender documents comply with regulatory requirements and company standards. Stakeholder Engagement
Engage with government agencies, clients, and partners to understand their needs and expectations. Represent the company in meetings, forums, and industry events to enhance visibility and build relationships. Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to ethical standards, legal requirements, and industry regulations in all government affairs and tender activities. Conduct periodic compliance assessments and provide recommendations for improvement. Risk Management
Identify and assess potential risks associated with government affairs and tender processes. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the company's interests. Strategic Planning
Contribute to the development of strategic plans related to government affairs and tendering. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on market trends, opportunities, and potential challenges. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of government affairs and tender-related activities. Prepare regular reports on the status of ongoing government affairs initiatives and tender submissions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Public Health, Public Administration or a related field. Proven experience in government affairs, public relations, or tender management, preferably within pharmaceutical sector In-depth knowledge of Malaysian pharmaceutical government processes, regulations, and tendering procedures. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Familiarity with compliance and risk management principles.
