The Government Relations Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive government relations strategy to advance the company's strategic objectives. This role will require a deep understanding of the automotive industry, government policies, and regulatory landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:Develop and implement a long-term government relations strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
Policy Analysis:Monitor and analyze government policies, regulations, and legislative initiatives that impact the automotive industry.
Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, policymakers, and industry associations.
Advocacy:Advocate for the company's interests through direct lobbying, coalition building, and public relations campaigns.
Issue Management:Identify and proactively address potential regulatory risks and challenges.
Crisis Management:Develop and implement crisis communication strategies for government relations issues.
