Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Accountant at Affintive (AU & MY). The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and managing accounts and budgets. This role is located in Petaling Jaya.
Client Profile: SME
Responsibilities: Graduate / Junior Level (0-3 years) Manage company accounts and affiliated business accounts.Manage accounts receivable and payable including invoicing, payments and collections, conduct credit control and monitor credit accounts.Review billing and report sales outcome.Review, reconcile and maintain general ledger and provide balance sheet, profit and loss statement.Attend regular management meeting to report business performance outcome, address issues and support resolution of issues.Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation expenses.Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.Support the improvement of accounting function of software system (Xero) including upcoming system upgrade.Ensure the job competence level by obtaining required trainings.Report performance to the management.Senior Level Accountant (4-7 years) Mentor and lead the junior accountants, providing guidance, training and support as needed.Manage company accounts and affiliated business accounts.Manage accounts receivable and payable including invoicing, payments and collections, conduct credit control and monitor credit accounts.Review billing and report sales outcome.Review, reconcile and maintain general ledger and provide balance sheet, profit and loss statement.Perform financial forecast, management reports and other operational metrics tracking as required.Project and manage cash flow and inventory purchase.Attend regular management meeting to report business performance outcome, address issues and support resolution of issues.Attend regular management meeting to report business performance outcome, address issues and support resolution of issues.(Australia) Review and prepare IAS and BAS; provide data for income tax, payroll tax and other statutory documents and legal compliance as required.(Malaysia) Collaborate with clients and its stakeholders.Liaise with client auditors, tax accountants, company secretaries regarding all statutory and legal compliance matters.Onboarding clients and manage clients' expectations.Continuous engagement with clients and improve service undertakings.Complete the additional tasks assigned by the management.About You: Education level: Financial/Accounting tertiary qualification to degree level.Experience: Graduate Level: 0-3 years of relevant Accounting experience.Senior Level: 4-7 years of relevant Accounting experience.Strong command of the English language – written and spoken – to effectively liaise and communicate with native speaking clients and stakeholders.Laser focus and a self-starter.Effective and independent in managing time per work priority.Strong value around quality of work produced.Eloquent and well presented with effective communication towards internal and external parties.Provide attention to detail with accuracy.Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models would be advantageous.Certifications: CPA/CA preferred.Salary: RM3,000.00 – RM6,000.00.
