Position Title:Graphic Designer
Overview:CERAWeek by S&P Global – the Global annual energy conference in Houston, Texas (www.ceraweek.com) – brings together global leaders to advance new ideas, insight and solutions to the biggest challenges facing the future of energy, the environment, and climate. CERAWeek is widely considered to be the most prestigious annual gathering of CEOs and Ministers from global energy and utilities, as well as automotive, manufacturing, policy and financial communities, along with a growing presence of tech.
Objective:Assist in creative elements related to CERAWeek. Work with CERAWeek Team and production company to ensure all assets are created and submitted to spec for physical builds for CERAWeek (including Agora & Campus). The position is responsible for delivering effective, aesthetic, on-brand, and on-strategy creative for event signage, print material, social media graphics, and digital ads. Work directly with the Creative Director, stakeholders, and others on the CERAWeek team to ensure that all projects are consistent with brand standards while reaching the goal of each creative brief.
Required Skills:
Mandatory:Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities include:
Good organizational skills
The motivation to maintain and improve design standards
The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
Creating images and layouts using design software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
Creating layout/charts/graphs using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Excellent communication skills
Strong work ethic and personal accountability
Strong attention to detail
Strong time management
Good interpersonal skills
