Group Accountant

Our client is a leading logistics provider, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and innovative logistics solutions worldwide.
Job Responsibilities: Able to handle full sets of accounts.
Accountable for the day-to-day financial activities and highlighting and prompting supervisor on key finding.
Responsible for the preparation of monthly management reports including the audit schedules.
Prepare and analysing financial statement including balance sheet, income statements and cash flow statements.
Preparation of tax computation, tax estimates, SST and transfer pricing documentation and ensure a timely and effective level of compliance in accordance with relevant legislation.
In charge of fixed assets register, ensuring all asset are accounted for and accurately recorded in Register.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Perform monthly inter-company reconciliation and streamline related parties' transactions, inter- company billing and contra.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare on monthly group consolidation account and financial reports in a timely manner and accurately in accordance with statutory requirements.
Coordinate interim and final audit with external auditors.
Assist in e-invoicing implementation and ensure the compliance with the regulatory requirements.
Monitor existing accounting policies adopted and proactively identify gaps for improvement.
Taking part in systems and process improvement initiatives.
Support in internal audit and due diligence exercises.
Undertake any accounting & reporting requirements and ad-hoc duties as requested by Supervisor.
Job Requirements: Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years experiences in accounting and finance.
At least (2) years supervisory experience in managing team.
Preferably candidates with MIA membership or any recognised professional accountant (ACCA/CIMA/CPA) Candidate must be highly organised, self-motivated, multi-tasking and can work under pressure.
Computer literate with good understanding and command of Microsoft Office and accounting system.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written) are essential.
Strong team player and able to work independently.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Candidate will be based in Shah Alam.
Willing to travel to other branches in Malaysia and regional office for work purpose.
