Group Finance & Accounting Manager

Lead the Finance team of the group and in charge of the consolidation accounts of the Group.
Oversee operations of the subsidiaries' finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
Be the finance business partner to the business and operations team.
Work with counterparts to fulfil the functions on financial reporting.
Implement processes and guidelines to ensure uniform approach in financial reporting across the Group.
Conduct revenue and cost analysis, costs optimization solutions, process improvement and forecasting/budgeting.
Manage cash flows for all entities in the group and for the Group as a whole.
Oversee the tax function and ensure compliance.
Liaison with auditors and ensure compliance with local statutory and shareholders requirements; as well as PCAOB auditor for US listing requirement & SOX compliance.
Involved in ad hoc finance projects/initiatives.
Work with colleagues from various departments to support the business and ensure it meets the financial reporting expectations.
Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislations.
Mentor, coach and groom team members.
Requirements:
A minimum of 7-8 years of experience is preferred.
Prior experience as Group Finance & Accounting Manager or a related role, preferably with audit background in the Big 4 or equivalent.
Has a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with professional certification.
Has sound knowledge of accounting and accounting standards (including consolidation), tax and cash flow management.
Expertise in statutory financial accounting rules, US GAAP, SOX, is an added advantage.
A proficient user of finance software, experience of setting up ERP will be an added advantage.
Effective relationship builder and communicator, solution-oriented, influencer.
Able to take quick decisions while working independently.
Able to stick to time constraints.
Analytical and inquisitive mind with a keen eye for details.
Demonstrate an ability to effectively manage time, work independently, and prioritize multiple ongoing assignments and deadlines.
Process oriented, problem-solving mentality.
Experience in effective change management.
