Currently, they are looking for a capable finance leader to head up the finance department.
Job Description
Responsible for the entire end-to-end accounting and finance functions for the local Hong Kong office as well as taking up the leadership role at a Group finance of financial and management reporting consolidation of China offices.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to meet compliance and all statutory requirements.
Lead the financial planning and analysis process of budgeting, forecasting, and analyses to deliver strategic insights.
Ensure and enforce robust internal controls to maintain the integrity of all financial information to safeguard the interests of the organisation.
Manage the treasury function, including cash management and banking relationships.
Involve in group-level projects and execute relevant improvement plans.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including external auditors, to manage the audit process and ensure that recommendations are implemented.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Professional accounting qualification.
At least 15 years of in-house commercial experience, with previous audit training in Big 4 being a plus.
Candidates who come from a complex business model (i.e., industrial/manufacturing) or those from a high-tech environment are preferred.
Candidates with hands-on experience in China are a plus.
Highly logical work style, capable of managing projects and providing targeted deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Able to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Candidates with less experience but showing high potential with relevant skill sets can be considered for the Senior Financial Controller position with the trajectory to move up in the future.
