Job Description
Report to Group COO, work closely with internal stakeholders such as all Business Unit Heads, respective CTO and Head of IT, Group Chief Product Officer, Group Chief Strategy Officer and senior management team, as well as external stakeholders like service vendors, industries bodies and contribute to strategic planning and decision making of the Group.
Identify & drive IT synergies across all Business Units.
Track & update Group on new technology trends and corresponding impact and/or opportunities to Group.
Implement Group initiated projects with BU Tech Teams.
Understand the technology stack/ functionalities/ modularity/ system portability & compatibility of all Business Unit thoroughly and analyze, propose & implement initiatives to optimize costs, enhance efficiency & effectiveness of current & future IT system investments.
Keep abreast of annual IT plans, budgets & reforecasts of Business Units to refine ongoing strategies.
Establish IT investment governance framework at Group level.
Jointly determine technology investments KPIs, and track: External – vendor and service provider, licenses / Internal – man-days.
Research and track emerging technologies and advise Group office & Business Unit heads on impact and opportunities (to invest, replace, develop new business, etc.).
For Group initiatives, assist Group COO to drive technology implementation, including but not limited to: Provide initial view on technical feasibility, Provide high level tech effort scoping/sizing, Work in conjunction with Business Unit IT teams.
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree in IT related major.
An experienced financial services IT executive with at least 12 years of successful track record.
Meaningful China related work experience.
Proficient in commercial, strategic, and tactical thinking about the business technology.
A positive attitude and desire to succeed.
A high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
Excellent spoken and written communication & presentation skills in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
Ability to manage stakeholders across geographies, businesses, and seniorities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
