Job ResponsibilitiesAssist in attending to corporate, commercial, construction, and any other transactions of the Company/Group with a certain degree of independence and provide practical solutions;
Prepare agreements including drafting, vetting, reviewing, and amending corporate agreements, construction agreements, and any other legal documents to protect the interests of all group companies;
Draft, vet, and review all formal correspondences for various business units which entail legal implications;
Provide status updates on litigation or arbitration involving the Company/Group on a regular basis and prepare the relevant Board papers;
Prepare legal reports (and presentations) for the Head of Department's meetings and as required;
Coordinate litigation and any other legal matters handled by external lawyers;
Assist in legal services on all legal aspects of corporate business and affairs of the Company/Group;
Conduct legal research on areas of law as required to ensure that legal/security documents are consistent with the latest developments and keep the Company/Group updated on any legal developments;
Ensure an efficient filing system for all legal documents;
Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.
