Requirements: Possess CPA, ACCA or professional certification from other recognised accounting bodies.Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.Minimum 10 years of accounting / financial management experience preferably from property industry.Possess excellent leadership qualities, interpersonal and ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organisation.Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented.Experience in property development industry is preferred.Experience in corporate finance (fund raising, negotiating and arranging financing facilities) is preferred.Understanding of Bursa Listing Requirements and/or prior experience with listed companies will be an advantage. Able to travel when necessary.Strong command of English language.Responsibilities: Responsible for all aspects of the statutory financial management and reporting, budgetary, financial forecasting functions and corporate tax compliances for a listed company, its subsidiaries and associated companies.Lead the finance team in improving strategic initiatives, planning and reporting.Provide analysis of financial and accounting information, cashflow projections, and budgetary control.Establish strong control procedures to improve accounting and reporting systems.Monitor the financial performance of the company against budget and project costing and implement appropriate action plans to address any issues accordingly.Review capital expenditure and investment proposals and make recommendation to Management and Board of Directors.Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers and other relevant professional parties on treasury and financial matters.
