Hdd Supervisor

A Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) supervisor is responsible for planning and monitoring drilling activities, ensuring safety, and ensuring that the construction of an underground pipeline is completed correctly and on time.
Some of their responsibilities include:
Ensuring that all workers are provided with the appropriate safety equipment
Following safety protocols at all times
Providing regular safety briefings
Reinforcing safety rules on a regular basis
Utilizing various risk management techniques to identify potential hazards and mitigate any risks prior to drilling operations
Ensuring a smooth transition of the Construction Plan to the field
Providing oversight and supervising all assigned construction resources
Monitoring Contractor performance of work through the Construction Key Performance Indicator Reports
