Responsibilities:
Strategize, spearhead, and formulate the effort within networks to enhance relationships with key government ministries and agencies (strategic communications), the media, industry associations, and interest groups to project a positive image.
Lead the development of a 5-year Strategic Communications roadmap for SIRIM Group and establish the yearly coordination of Group's strategic communications activities.
Lead and formulate content for consultancy, advisory, and support services to all SBUs and Subsidiaries in areas pertaining to publications, communications materials, events, and promotional activities.
Act as a focal point for corporate communication (PR) messages from agencies/ministries.
Oversee the content formulation for communication issues & challenges for SIRIM Group on matters affecting future business sustainability, and provide high-level strategic content to be communicated to all SIRIM stakeholders via suitable platforms.
Lead the strategy in identifying and building relationships with new and existing editors, reporters, producers, bloggers, and technology analysts to increase media coverage.
Lead and formulate programmes for Group's Crisis Communication Committee.
Lead and strategize Group Social Media content (text & video) creation, update, and monitoring across all company's social media platforms.
Lead and formulate the strategies and concepts for communication flow and systems for organizational renewal that will create sustainable competitive advantage.
Establish, implement, and update the policies and procedures relating to SIRIM corporate image and brand.
Develop, review and update brand collaterals, profiles, videos, advertisements, and website.
Identify and assess risks and threats associated with brand & communication and formulate appropriate strategies to reduce and mitigate the risks and threats for SIRIM Group.
Requirements:
Possess a minimum degree in Mass Communications, Branding and Advertising or equivalent with a minimum of 12-15 years working experience.
Candidates with post-graduate/professional qualifications will have an added advantage.
Possess good media networking, exposure, and experience in branding, skills, and competency in social media and protocol.#J-18808-Ljbffr
