Job Responsibility
1. Menu Research & Development (R&D)
Lead the development of creative and innovative menu items.
Adapt quickly to customer preferences, seasonal ingredient availability, and market trends.
Regularly review and adjust the menu based on operational needs, guest feedback, and business goals.
2. Setting up Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Design and implement SOPs that are flexible enough to adapt to both high-volume and low-volume service periods.
Adjust procedures and workflows as needed to optimize kitchen efficiency while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
Regularly assess and revise SOPs to ensure they remain relevant to changing kitchen operations and staff capabilities.
3. Kitchen Cleanliness & Hygiene
Ensure that cleanliness and food safety protocols are maintained at all times, adjusting practices as needed based on service requirements, health regulations, and staffing levels.
Oversee the hygiene standards in various kitchen sections, adjusting schedules or methods in response to fluctuating workloads.
4. Team Leadership & Development
Lead and motivate a dynamic kitchen team, with the flexibility to reassign tasks based on daily needs and personnel availability.
Offer support across various kitchen stations (e.g., hot kitchen, cold kitchen, pastry) to ensure a smooth operation and high-quality food output.
5. Budgeting & Cost Control
Be adaptable with budgeting and cost control measures, adjusting menu pricing or ingredient sourcing based on seasonal changes or unforeseen operational demands.

Culinary Expertise:In-depth knowledge of cooking skills with Malay cuisine and Burgers. Min 3 years working experience is preferable.
Systematic:Able to set up an efficient kitchen Standard Operating Procedure as a framework.
Problem-Solving:Able to handle challenges in a fast-paced environment.
High Flexibility:You will be required to adapt to ever-changing circumstances, from last-minute menu adjustments and special events to evolving team needs.
