About the role
We are seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our team at the Rocana Hotel in Kuantan District Pahang. As our Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.
Responsibility:
Oversee the daily operations of the hotel's kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and quality controlManage and mentor a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff to ensure consistent high-quality food productionDevelop innovative and creative menu items that showcase the best of local and regional cuisinesEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulationsCollaborate with the hotel's management team to align culinary offerings with the overall brand and guest experienceManage food and beverage costs and monitor inventory to maintain profitabilityParticipate in industry events and stay up-to-date with culinary trends to continuously improve the hotel's offeringsWhat we're looking for Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industryFormal culinary training and a proven track record of delivering exceptional dining experiencesStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a teamExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressureThorough understanding of food safety, hygiene, and cost control practicesPassion for creating innovative and visually appealing dishes that showcase local and regional flavoursAbility to work collaboratively with the hotel's management team and other departmentsWhat we offer Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for career advancement and professional developmentDiscounts on hotel accommodations and dining experience.
