Job DescriptionWe are seeking a driven and motivated Head Chef who is passionate about research and development (R&D) and eager to explore the exciting world of Korean cuisine.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistent food quality, making improvements in standard operating procedures (SOP), being involved in menu R&D creation, managing food costs, and training kitchen/service leaders.
The Head Chef will also manage projects and lead the team in the day-to-day running of the business.
Additionally, the Head Chef should be creative in managing the outlet appearance, driving marketing initiatives, and generating ideas on how to increase sales and attract more customers.
Food safety and food hygiene will also be part of the responsibilities.
RequirementsCulinary experience
A Diploma or Degree in a relevant field or certifications will be advantageous
At least 5 years' experience working in a Restaurant, Hotel, or F&B establishment
Must have experience working in a casual dining restaurant
Experience working in a franchise chain will be an added advantage
What We OfferCompetitiveSalary: RM 8,000 - RM 12,000 per month , depending on experience
