Accountability for overall P&L for the new equipment business to ensure both budgeted revenue and profitability are achieved, and to drive sales through value selling.
Develop & execute dealership wide segmental marketing programmes to enhance sales pipeline.
Recommend to Principal on configurations & models with market-based price positions.
Strategize and support branch heads, regional sales managers, sales executives and sales reps in meeting industry business plans and customer machine requirements.
Monitor, review and improve participation rate of sales team through monthly tracking of lost sales reporting and market intelligence.
Inventory planning and manage ordering/allocation from principal for machines and attachments to ensure optimal stock holding to achieve targeted monthly sales.
Technical
Support sales on technical by coordinating product performance and field evaluation.
Provide leadership in technical support to sales team for newly introduced models as well as to conduct product sales and technical trainings.
Operational
Lead development and implementation of effective training program for all Sales personnel.
Analyse and track competitive product movements (commercial and technical) to ensure competitive positioning of the machines.
Monitoring customer movements, operating environments, Internal and External industry cyclical changes, global developments for Industry Segment products including sales performance and market segment environments.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical)
Graduates in Marketing/Business Admin with adequate experience/exposure in industry
Possess good oral and numerical literacy, interpersonal communication skills and analytical thinking in addition to positive aptitude and attitude.
5 – 10 year experience in heavy equipment industry
Knowledge of marketing principles required
Proficient in heavy machinery application and product specification
Fluent in spoken and written in English and Bahasa Melayu. Ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.
